^® G6PD Rapid Test Device (Whole blood/ Plasma/ Serum) is a Immunochromatographic enzyme immunoassay, rapid, precise and easy to perform. This test makes use of specific antibodies against G6PD adsorbed onto a reactive membrane. If G6PD is present in Whole blood, Plasma or Serum specimen, the G6PD antigen will move up and be captured to the T-line region on the membrane. After reacted with the substrate of G6PD, there will be a blue color appear in the T-line region. If there's not enough G6PD in the specimen, there's only a very faint line or even no line appears in the T-line region. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region indicating that proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred. .

Allow the test, specimen, buffer and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30℃) prior to testing.

1.Add 10ul whole blood/serum/plasma to the specimen well (S) of the test device, add 2 drops of buffer (approximately 80 l) to the buffer well. Start the timer and wait for 8 minutes

2.Use another dropper to add 1 drop (about 20ul) of DI water into both Reaction A and B Tubes with Freeze dried powder, mix well, ensure that all materials are dissolved. Then transfer the solution from tube A to tube B and mix well to obtain the reaction buffer. This reaction buffer must be used in 4 hours, after 4 hours this reaction buffer would cause false results.

3.Transfer 10ul of the mixed reaction buffer onto the T region on the membrane, wait till 5-10 minutes.

4.Wait for the colored band(s) to appear. The T-line of sufficient person will appear in 10~20 seconds, the G6PD deficiency will only show a faint T-line or even no T-line appears.

5.The result should be read in 10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 15 minutes..
